Caring for Myself
This program helps participants discuss one’s motivation for hygiene routines. Teaching concrete and/or specific direction based on the situation or setting for the following topics:
Washing
Bathing and Showering
Dental Care
Toileting and Bathroom Etiquette
Bedroom/ Sleeping Area Organization
Privacy
The skills covered in Caring for Myself are the foundations of developing healthy relationships with others, strengthening relationships with family members or shared housemates.

Food with Friends
Join us in person, for a friendship themed cooking program. Participants can cook and prepare food items to increase their independence and comfort in the kitchen. Participants will learn kitchen safety & hygiene, basic cooking skills, along with social activities each evening. Participants will leave each session with new recipes to add to their collection, as well as items they have made to share with family & friends. Through exploring the social side of cooking, participants could use the recipes and skills learned to share with family and friends during a gathering.

Job Ready
Looking to join the workforce or begin volunteering? Get Job Ready with our job readiness program. Learn new skills or refresh some previously learnt. The program will include activities, games, videos and role plays to help get you ready as your begin employment. During the sessions, each participant will create a resume, look for positions available, and experience an interview.

Money Talks; Beginner
Learn to identify money, values, prices of items and how to pay with cash. We will practice social skills in using money, such as receiving the wrong change. Programming will run for 45 minutes per week, for 8 weeks.
This program is suitable for youth benefiting from weekly practice with money values, adding cash and practicing paying for items and receiving change.

Increase financial literacy with our Money Talks program. Participants will learn through a mix of games, practice, videos and other activities.

This program is beneficial for those with average to advanced language skills, or those with appropriate supports.

Zones of Regulation; Level 1
Regulating emotions is a life skill most people are constantly developing. These session are appropriate for those just beginning their emotion and regulation journey. Content will include:

Regulating emotions is a life skill most people are constantly developing. In these sessions we will look at flexible thinking, how to develop a positive mindset, size of the problem, as well as how to identify triggers and manage intense emotions. The sessions will also introduce the practice of mindfulness to support with regulation.
