Social Skills Programming for Adults 18 Years & Older
Talking Matters
Join us for a communication series examining aspects of healthy friendships and relationships. Participants will look at communication using both words and body language with the opportunity to practice in session, including assertive communication to support speaking up in a way that people will listen. We will also look at conversation skills related to trading information and two-way conversations to support developing relationships.

Dating for Adults
This 4-week boot camp is designed to teach evidence-based social skills to adults interested in learning more about dating. Topics covered include:
Flirting with Potential Partners
Letting Someone Know You Like Them
Choosing Appropriate People to Date
Asking Someone on a Date
Handling Rejection
Turning Someone Down
Planning & Going on Dates
Dating Do's & Don'ts
Handling Pressure from Partners
An optional session for social coaches will be delivered at the same time.

Game On!
Practice and boost social skills weekly through our games night. Register for one month, or as many as you would like. Each week relevant social skills will be covered to enhance the social skill toolbox involving playing games with others. We will also focus on learning to play (the game, if required), following the game rules and appropriately handling situations that occur while playing games.

Healthy Relationships: Being Smart and Safe When You Date
If you have questions about dating and relationships, this 8-week workshop is right for you.
Questions and topics explored include:
How do I make friends?
What do I need to know about my body?
How do I find a partner or boy/girlfriend?
How do I stay safe online?
How do I protect myself?

Healthy Relationships & Sexuality
This program is inclusive of all sexual orientations and gender identities that promote sexual self-advocacy. The main pillars of the program address healthy boundaries, healthy and unhealthy relationships, sexual health, and anatomy. In this group, we talk about relationships and sexuality. We will cover different topics including:
Understanding who you are as a person- interests, likes/dislikes, communication styles
How to be in different kinds of relationships (friendships, employer/employee, intimate)
How to start a relationship, how to stay in one, and how to decide what is ok in relationships
How to communicate with others
Sexuality and sexual health
Male and female sex parts
What can go wrong in a sexual and romantic relationship? And how to make things go right (consent, safe expression, legal issues)
The program teaches sexuality to participants to ensure they have access to information that allows them to make informed decisions and be sexual self-advocates. Focusing on how to speak up regarding relationships and sexuality. Participants will have interactive opportunities to practice skills through skits, roleplay, and other techniques.

Social Skills for Young Adults
PEERS® for Young Adults is a 16-week evidence-based social skills intervention for motivated young adults between 18-38 years of age who are interested in learning skills to make and keep friends and develop romantic relationships. During each group session, young adults are taught important social skills and are given the opportunity to practice these skills. PEERS® may be appropriate for young adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, Anxiety, Depression, or other social and behavioral disorders.
Young adults must be socially motivated and attend each session with a social coach.
